On Thursday, 9th March 2023, level 100 students of Accra College of Education underwent a health screening exercise in the College auditorium, starting at 4:30 am.
Students arrived early and were given forms to fill out containing their health records and personal information. The student-teachers were provided instructions on how to complete the forms, and students were then attended to in groups.
To speed up the process, some level 100 student-teachers were recruited to act as “nurses” for the day, and some were thrilled to participate.
During the screening, urine samples, weight, height, and blood pressure were measured, and blood samples were taken. Both ears and eyes were also examined.
