About Us
The Sir John Rodger Library was commissioned on 12th November, 2012. It was named after Sir John Rodger a British Governor of the Gold Coast who established Accra Training Institute now Accra College of Education.
The overall purpose of the library is to provide support services for teaching, research, study and outreach activities of the college. In the light of this, the library has continued to improve on its services each successive year, particularly since the beginning of the library’s mission towards automation in 2017.

To build and maintain local and international collection and provide access to electronic information wherever available to support teaching, learning, research outreach activities of Accra College of Education.
Vision
To provide world class library with modern trends and information for the college.
