The Accra College of Education Chapter of the Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) organized a small cocktail reception on February 22, 2023, at the College auditorium to celebrate Professor Samuel Awinkene Atintono.
The reception was in honor of his recent achievements, which include maintaining his position as Principal of the Accra College of Education, being elected as President of the Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) and being promoted from Doctorate to Professor.
The event was attended by the College Principal, financial officer, College Secretary, Principal of Foso College (Dr. Anthony Baabereyir), CETAG AcCE President, and academic staff and other staff members.
The AcCE CETAG Chairperson, Mr. Fidelis Kamaayi, explained that the purpose of the cocktail reception was to share in Professor Atintono’s joy and celebrate his accomplishments. Professor Atintono expressed his gratitude to the academic staff members for organizing the reception and acknowledged that their support was crucial to his achievements. He also encouraged the staff to work together to continue improving Accra College of Education.
The event provided an opportunity for other staff members to express their thoughts and concerns to the management.
